When it’s warm it is sometimes hard to find healthy options for your kids ( and realistically yourself) to keep cool during the hot sunny days.
It’s difficult to find healthy alternatives that still feel like a treat. That is why these frozen bananas are a great option.
Bananas are a great source of calcium and are very rich in vitamins. They are also great for your digestive system amongst many other benefits.
Bananas are one of the oldest cultivated plants and have been used to treat everything from inflammation to digestive disorders.In TCM they are used to lubricate the intestines and aid digestion - helping to keep sugar cravings at bay!

Your choice of topping can also boost these amazing treats health and flavour wise so don't be afraid to experiment.
The best part? They are really easy to make!
4 bananas frozen
1 tin coconut milk
you can get very creative here but I used.
Teaspoon of Chia seeds (or sesame seeds)
Freeze dried Strawberries
1 Peel the bananas and place a skewer into each then freeze for 3 hours.
2 Whilst the bananas are freezing pour the coconut cream and half the water into a bowl and mix until the water and the cream are incorporated.
3 Dip the bananas into the coconut milk and place on a tray prepared with baking paper
4. Sprinkle the bananas with your favourite toppings
5 Freeze for a min of 6 hours
